The heartwarming conclusion to What's Left of Me.

Love found me three years ago.

I’m cancer free, happily married to the love of my life, and working toward my dream career.

Our life is complete. Perfect, really.

Or is it?

I’ve always wanted a family of my own, but never dreamed I could have one. Now Parker’s ready to make my dream our reality.

But sometimes our dreams are haunted by our deepest fears. Fears of failure, having a child, and in our case … death. How do I help the person I love get over his fear when I’m still trying to overcome that same fear myself?

Together we must learn What’s Left of Us

{REVIEW}

I’m speechless, and that’s a rarity. Kind of like seeing the magic of stars and constellations mapping the skies we look up at, What’s Left of Us by Amanda Maxlyn truly left me in awe of a pavement of heart and fear guiding two hearts to be whole. Having fallen head over heels for What’s Left of Me, I was all ready with marshmallows next to me to mask the emotional journey, whilst inducing a tipsy state with a glass of wine so I don’t end up a blubbering mess with mascara running everywhere, just as I escaped into Aundreas and Parkers concluding tale.

“Fear. It is all around us. It finds a way inside, lodging deep within, refusing to surrender. It latches on, following you on this path called life.”

Amanda takes us on an emotional bewitchment of healing and letting go of your fears that will leave you shedding too many tears into your pillow, wallowing at the exposed pain Aundrea and Parker experience and enveloping a breathtaking journey coursing so many raw emotions.

“You can’t always be the one to make everything perfect. Your past doesn’t determine who you are. Don’t let it. You need to have faith. Getting over fear doesn’t happen overnight, but accepting it will get you closer to being over it.”

I can’t tell you that Aundrea and Parker don’t manoeuvre the line between life and death. The battles still remain from fear of all the possibilities that can come but one thing is for sure, it leaves you mesmerised and with a full heart of raw and stripped to the bone emotion that can’t be challenged with the brilliance of the work. I can’t implore a reader more than me blubbering on for hours about the heart that Amanda has put into the book and the flawless emotion it brought to me whilst reading, but it was truly a masterpiece and worth the read, and a million stars.

P.S I met Amanda on my amazing trip to the US for some authors events and fun, and I can honestly say I have never been more speechless and happy all in one time, so meet such an amazing and inspiring author.

Life works in mysterious ways.

Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer.
I refuse to cry.
And I refuse to give in.
A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows what he wants. Me.
He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile.
But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him.
What if it changes everything?
Tragedy found me when I was seventeen.
Love found me when I was twenty-one.
My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.

{ABOUT THE AUTHOR}

I am the mother of two little boys, married to the love of my life, and living in one of the smallest towns in Minnesota. When I’m not chasing or cleaning up after my boys (yes, all three), I can be found writing or snuggled up with my kindle, a glass of wine, and spending time with my fictional friends and family.

I am first and foremost an avid reader! I love to read anything romance from paranormal, young/new adult, contemporary, and even yes, (wide eyes) erotic/BDSM.
