My book rut is OVER! No joke 20+ days without finishing a book and I was starting to think my bookish heart was broken in two, that was until Kiss My Boots by Harper Sloan. THIS BOOK! Where do I even begin! A second chance romance that pulled every punch of emotion with every single word I read. Kiss My Boots by Harper Sloan was a second chance romance that was beautifully written to provoke the most raw of emotions and showcase a vulnerability in characters that capture our hearts.

Tate Montgomery and Quinn Davis met in the summers of childhood in Pine Oak, Texas. Tate and Quinn’s story was powerfully raw and heartbreaking passionate from the very beginning, as the raw emotion and soul defining connection between the characters embedded itself into my soul. Tate and Quinn’s story was evoking into the darkest depth of my soul and it truly is a testament to wonderful Harper Sloan and how she creates characters that are written to hold your heart. I love a country romance and the second book in the Coming Home series from Harper Sloan has become one of my absolute favourite reads of the year! Kiss My Boots holds my heart with it’s beauty, it’s romance, it’s heartbreaking moments and it tugs on the heart strings that is for sure!
