From the number-one New York Times best-selling author of Grace's Guide and the host of The Grace Helbig Show on E! comes a tongue-in-cheek book about style that lampoons fashion and beauty guides while offering practical advice in Grace Helbig's trademark sweet and irreverent voice.
It's clear to see I'm a style icon; remember, you can't spell icon without "con".
Grace Helbig doesn't want to tell anyone how they should dress, how they should do their hair or makeup, or even which dog poop bags to purchase - because surprisingly, Target has numerous options for that too!
While Grace doesn't claim to be stylish or polished, she is very self-aware and perceptive. Trendy? She'd rather have fun trying. She loves fashion as much as the next lady, man, or French bulldog, but telling others how they should look doesn't suit her. Instead, with Grace & Style, Grace takes us into her closet and shares her silly and practical approach to style - which obviously includes an entire chapter on sweatpants.
One part parody, one part fashion fun, and one part personal experience, Grace's latest guide to life as a woman in America today is more H&M than Chanel. So tighten your Banana Republic belt a few notches, and learn how to pretend and convince everyone around you that you've got style and grace!

Fashion isn’t my forte, I’ll be the first to admit it. I’m more likely to be seen in lounge comfy clothes than I am to be seen wearing a leather jacket with rhinestones on it. However every once in a while I try to educate myself on ways to jump out of my ‘style’ (if it is one) and try something different and that’s how I stumbled across and went on to read Grace & Style written by the extraordinarily funny Grace Helbig.

Grace & Style is a repertoire guide to style in a comedic and realistically patted way that made me feel confident in trying something new. Grace herself said in the opening dedication “This book is dedicated to insecurity and fear. Two of my best friends and closest enemies.”  which whilst reading as a 21 shy young women gave me a warmth in knowing I’m not alone.

As I read from chapter to chapter, Grace’s authentic voice shined as I learnt what a few of her favourite things were… including one of my favourite’s which was “Favourite Kind of Night Out: me + my couch + my sweatpants..” because the reader & writer in me never goes out and I’m sure others would agree with me.

In every aspect of Grace & Style from the basics of Work It business attire to  Going Out comforts to wear the rhythmic comedic tone to the guide was posed to be both entertaining and educational. The Dear series was a highlight read as it set realistic scenarios that would happen to anyone and how Grace would herself respond and give advice for the situations. As I read page after page every tip and trick felt authentic in it’s approach to teaching the younger generation which ideally I think the book is geared towards.

Grace & Style was a fantastic biography of Grace Helbig’s fashion, makeup/hair and style advice that went over almost every occasion and niche of style. From the basics of attire to the do’s and don’ts of travel clothing it was a perfect read to give some inspiration and guidance to women like myself. I highly recommend if you are a young women and feeling lost in your own style to take Grace & Style as an art of guidance. I have learnt there are no rules in fashion but within your own style you will find things that work for you through years of experience.
