One blink,

One breath of air,

One moment in time …

Could change your life forever.

Growing up, Peyton Spencer fell in love with the boy across the road, Callum Reid. As the years went by, it only made sense that they would wind up being completely and utterly infatuated with each other. That was, until the morning Peyton wakes up to find Callum packing up and leaving the small town they lived in. Left heartbroken and with no explanation, Peyton spends the next four years of her life without him, ensuring they never cross paths again.

At seventeen and months after Callum leaves her, Peyton buries her parents—feeling more alone than ever before. Now at twenty-one, she’s inherited the family hotel, The Spencer-Dayle. Just when she thinks life couldn’t get more complicated, the one person that shattered her heart, soul and belief returns. For Peyton, his return opens up all her old wounds and resurfaces the memories she’s tried to forget.

He’s not the same boy she once fell in love with. He’s guarded and keeps secrets close to him. Peyton knows her life will begin to unravel.

Untold truths will finally come to light. Whether or not Peyton wants to hear it, the truth will undoubtedly break her heart all over again.

Honest.

Emotional.

Heartbreaking.

Sometimes Moments.

When it comes to writing a review many of us envision it as a way to connect with an author. Truth and bound the words that we write expressing our feelings connect the narrative to the author, the author to the reader and ignite a trust between breathing a language only sort out in fairytales and a response from hard-work that is a gift to read. Sometimes Moments by Len Webster was the modern day distance may divide us, but our hearts will always be linked; through time and space we meet a love that if made of Sometimes Moments.

After being left with a shattered heart from her one true love as a teenager Callum Reid, Peyton Spencer has lost more than anyone could ever imagine; becoming the sole owner of the family run hotel, life just was about getting through the day and as the narrative forged on moments of clarity and anguish left me in a sobbing mess (YES, IT’S A TEAR-JERKER). The narrative stems of a greater meaning of life with a beauty seen in define exquisite nature of sometimes moments, loving some whole-heartedly and living with the ramifications of moving forward when Callum comes back to town.

A promise of forever is never on the cards, but as a joker would pop up in a deck, so does the place that Callum still has embedded in Peyton’s heart. Through tribulation and happiness, the heart of this book is pure and honest. I can honestly say, I cried for what felt like hours and hours after reading Sometimes Moments because it has an IMPACT. The Impact may differ from perspectives but personally it was like trying to breathe knowing that these characters had cemented a cherry blossom on my heart forever. Not Nicholas Sparks, Not The Fault in Our Stars, none compare to my emotions after reading Len Webster’s masterpiece. It overtook my thoughts, Peyton and Callum are vero amore which is true love in Italian; because although it was a Sometimes Moments, it will be a moment in time and a story in time I hold onto forever. The belief I have in this story is that it was written not to carry just miles but to make an impact which it utterly dismantled and breathtakingly did.

Peyton and Callum’s sometimes moments are ones of pure raw love.

The heart, the pain, the moments, are ones I will never forget. Beyond a shadow of doubt, this novel stands more raw than a rating of 5, with more heart than my review can probably display, it’s a voice of moments; whether they be forever or sometimes.
