I chased, you pushed
I chased, you friend zoned
I chased, you fell
Now I chase to protect you.

You chased, I resisted
You chased, I accepted
You chased, I fell
Now I pray you’re not too late.

After finally winning the heart of the woman I loved, there was no way in hell he was taking her from me.

“This feeling… I’ve never felt it before with anyone but you and that scares me.”

Friends with Benefits.. oh how I love them. From the very moment I finished Finding You I knew I needed the next book in the series ASAP and when it landed on my kindle I couldn’t have been more excited. Chasing You hit me in the heart with a magnetic power of love and the allure of chasing and holding two hearts together. After reading 20 + books now from Kelly Elliott I can say without a shadow of doubt the heart of country/romance at it’s purist and the emotion at it’s rawest are what makes me continue to read timelessly.

Chasing You by Kelly Elliott is the fifth book in the Love Wanted in Texas Series and it follows Meagan Atwood and Grayson Bennett’s story as they ignite in lustful tangent of friends with benefits until it leads to more. With lines crossed and feelings unravelling the charm of Kelly’s books yet again bewitched me to read at the speed of light and not put it down for one second.

“You think all I care about is fucking you; I want to show you that’s not true. I want to show you how much I enjoy just hanging out with you.”

The uninhibited pull of Grayson and Meagan’s hearts together spark fireworks of emotion and powerful love that scares and empowers a gift of perfection in the writing and narrative. As they fall in love danger and a past tormentor lurk in the shadows waiting to drop the other shoe. Expect for every emotion to be woven into the chase as depths of emotion and heart with moments of raw love and soulful power in the hold of two hearts bound their way around my heart.

“For years I put on this show about not caring about finding love; then you came into my life and I found myself doing nothing but thinking of you every second of the day.”

Grayson and Meagan’s story brought tears to my eyes, brought love to my heart and an assurance that whenever I need to be reminded of the romance and love that is possible within the world I can look no further than Kelly Elliott’s writing because it is always perfection. The writing was beautiful and heartfelt as the words bleed so much love and emotion in every sentence written and spoken. I could waffle on for days on end as to why Chasing You was a book of such raw beauty in the capturing of friends with benefits to more but I recommend you read it and find out for yourself. This is a book that can be read as a standalone in the Love Wanted in Texas series and empowers a beauty deep and a chase that although bendy at times is worth every minute.

fb3f5-kellyelliottKelly Elliott is married to a wonderful Texas cowboy who has a knack for making her laugh almost daily and supports her crazy ideas and dreams for some unknown reason…he claims it’s because he loves her!

She’s also a mom to an amazing daughter who is constantly asking for something to eat while her fingers move like mad on her cell phone sending out what is sure to be another very important text message.

In her spare time she loves to sit in her small corner overlooking the Texas hill country and write.

One of her favorite things to do is go for hikes around her property with Gus….her chocolate lab and the other man in her life, and Rose, her golden retriever. When Kelly is not outside helping the hubby haul brush, move rocks or whatever fun chore he has in store for her that day, you’ll find her inside reading, writing or watching HGTV.
