Bad enough Jade Frost's boyfriend drags her to a boring poker game. Even worse that he actually threw her into the betting pot during an intense round...and lost. Talk about the perfect excuse for Jade to make him her ex-boyfriend.

Now she supposedly belongs to the ultra rich, extremely gorgeous Shep Prescott. He could have anything he wants yet he seems to be in hot pursuit of her. No matter how rude, how snarky, how impossible she acts, it doesn't stop him. More like her horrible behavior seems to make him want her more.

When she finds herself starting to fall for him, Jade's confused. There's more to Shep than the carefree rich charmer he portrays. No way could he want a serious relationship with her...or could he?

{REVIEW}

Picture yourself. You’re dragged to a poker game with your boyfriend; you’re bored out of mind, desperately wanting to evade and leave when you become the game; and what can I say, other than Welcome to a Fair Game by Monica Murphy; a sexy and romantic tale of a magnetic zap of chemistry between two opposites that explodes into passion, banter and laughter in a truly amazing book.

We all know the rich good looking type; the bold move, the mouth-trap of words that make you want to violently puke because of the innuendoes of sex and upperclass. The sultry lick of a lips from unattained Shep was all it took for a tantalising bond of rebelling and salted warmth to make Jade weak at the knees but pulling the punch of words and fight to ignore the chemistry between them in a captivating love of banter and laughs.

“Her anger had fuelled me. Her smart mouth had turned me on. Touching the bare skin of her arm.. she’s incredibly soft. The scent in her hair, those big eyes, those big tits.

Christ.”

The helpless divine of falling head over heels in love tampers with your very heart in Fair Game, as Shep’s norm seems to fight the pavement of more than a hook up and the label he knows his strapped to him like a vice. The chemistry hooks you from the very beginning luring a power of connection that makes Shep scramble at times at the fight Jade put up to ignore him.

“I’m a smooth motherfucker with girls. But not this one. She makes my hands shake and my brain scramble and sometimes I’m at a loss for words and that never happens.”

I’ll admit the partying of the college lifestyle being that I’m in my early 20’s relates to my current predicament in university (AU’s version of college) and from the very beginning of Monica Murphy’s Fair Game the synchronised beat of a perfectly set pace and a perfect portrayal of the college lifestyle was right on the ball. I loved reading Fair Game it was a relatively quick read for me and the feisty banter and laugh out loud moments truly. Can’t wait to pick up book 2 in the series and read more in the Rules series.
