Synopsis:
Alexa & Vincent’s Story
Alexa Schaefer has been through more pain and hurt in her life than your average twenty-eight year old. She protects her heart by controlling everything around her and living her life according to a strict set of rules. For years, she has lived behind a wall, not allowing anyone into her heart. That is, until she meets Vincent, a man she can’t get out of her head no matter what she tells herself.
On the outside, Vincent Mileski appears to be a confident, no nonsense attorney. A prodigy in the field of law, he has just won the biggest case of his career. Needing out of the spotlight, Vincent moves back to his home state of Colorado to get some time alone to heal from a previous betrayal. He hasn’t had a woman turn his head in years, that is, until he meets Alexa. After only knowing her name and the sweet taste of her kiss, she is torn from his arms.

I’m in a state of bliss. Wonderful, happy, heartfelt and emotional are all words to describe Fatalism by L.K. Collins. I was fixated into the world of Alexa and Vincent from the very first page. It was a beautifully written narrative full of heart and emotions.
In the book, Alexa and Vincent meet when fate throws them together at a nightclub. I absolutely loved Alexa, she is so true and raw with her characteristics. She won’t open her heart to anyone after been hurt too many times. I was hooked; I couldn’t put the book down even if I tried. The raw emotion and hear that Fatalism brought was pivotal to it being relatable.
I have been using the word Sexalicious quiet a lot lately, because all the books I have been reading ouzel with passion and male leads that are to die for. LK’s language style is amazing and unique. I was drawn to cry, laugh, smile and experience more than just the written words on a page through reading.
Between Vincent’s drop dead gorgeous, hot S.E.X.A.L.I.C.I.O.U.S personality and Alexa’s vulnerability the two characters create just a passionate narrative. All it took was fate one night to create such an amazing chemistry. I loved the friendships, the romances and the heart that LK prescribed to the readers. Definitely a book to BUY and READ. You may need a fan or a cold shower after though.

LK Collins is first and foremost a devoted wife and mother. She loves music and has openly admitted that she’s addicted to it. Without the strength of the words from some of her favorite artists, what she does…would not be possible. She works the normal 9 to 5 like the rest of the world, but is fortunate that she’s allowed to listen to music for eight hours a day. When she gets home, she turns into Superwoman; juggling the crazy world of being an indie author, a mom, and a wife. Both her daughter and her husband share names with famous presidents. Her husband is referred to by her readers as “the Prez”, a name well deserved.
LK has had a passion for the worlds created by authors for as long as she can remember and with the support of the Prez, she has successfully self-published three titles in the Life. Destiny. Fate Series. While her books are erotica, they are also known for dramatic storylines that will keep the reader enthralled from page one. Not to mention that while she may write a series, each is a stand-alone novel offering the reader a happily ever after. No cliffhangers for this author!
