Falling in love? Courtney Grayson has been there, done that.
Men, who needs them? Love wasn’t everything she thought it would be. This time around, she’s doing things differently. She hasn’t sworn off men for good; she just isn’t interested in settling. Trusting someone with her heart again? Someday, but not today.
Falling in love? Sorry, Clay Bradshaw is not the guy for you.
He’s never been in love and he doesn’t see it happening. Hooking up can be fun, but more often than not, women are a distraction he doesn’t need. He’s a busy man, and doesn’t have time to date, let alone fall in love. Will someone ever change that? There’s always a chance, someday.
Life doesn’t always go as planned, and love may find them both on the other side of someday.

REVIEW

The Other Side of Someday spoke words of pure heart that embedded so much perfection in the enchantment of the narrative. The narrative follows Courtney and Clay, Courtney struggles with the betraying trust from a former relationship, whereas Clay is trying to juggle more than his fair share of things. I loved how Carey created the narrative igniting two struggling individuals into a sonnet of writing that is filled with playful, romantic swoon moments.

The dual perspective narrative inks pure love and support as Courtney and Clay struggle, sport, and pursue an undying chance that The Other Side of Someday may be something worth fighting for.

The ink torn mark that Carey leaves on me after every novel is why I will forever love reading. The Other Side of Someday is fast paced, beautifully written and a breathtakingly pure and raw piece of art. The perfection of words on a page brings Courtney and Clay, who both struggle individually with battles, into an embodiment of heart, trust, love, and support.

It’s not without it’s moments of clarity and worry but I loved how Carey after finishing left me smiling and wondering maybe The Other Side of Someday isn’t too bad and life needs to lived, not seen defined by your past or worries.
