Review:
Not every relationship is perfect. Not every person is what he or she seems to be. I absolutely loved Crave by Violet Vaughn. It was passionate and brilliantly written. I fell in love with the narrative because it spoke to the audience about love, life and it was a lovely light read. Jason – Casey’s ex-boyfriend/fling could have it all, except Casey wants a few things that Jason doesn’t. Enter new scenery when Casey moves to Breckenridge, Colorado.
The relationships that form are exponentially exquisite. Blaine, a surfer turned ski instructor wants what Casey wants. I loved Blaine and Casey’s relationship, it seemed to have it all and tick all the boxes. I however did get frustrated that Blaine wasn’t a little more forthcoming with Casey. Secrets are kept, true feelings are hidden and passion is one thing that this narrative delivers on. Through all the ups and downs of characters, it was loving and light and just a lovely read. Jason towards the end grew tremendously on me, and I fell in love with his character. Who will Casey choose? A ski instructor or a guy who doesn’t seem to want the things she wants in life. Definitely a beautiful read and 4 STAR rating. Definitely look forward to reading more from the author.
