Is it too early in the year to say a Top Pick of 2015! Well, I’m gonna anyway, THE DEAL by Elle Kennedy, WOW WOW WOW! This book is what inspired me to share my thoughts about NA romance. It’s poignant in its shine of heart, it’s warmth of laughter, the heart of the flaws. I was hooked, line and sinker from the gluing of my eyes to the screen from the very first page. It’s one of those books where swoon moments aren’t deemed corny, they’re real, the heart, the laughter, the voice all lead a hot handed brightly hilarious banter of heart.
I love me a hockey player; just putting it out there. So as it goes this has the drool-worthy fine-specimen of a guy named Garrett; all star hockey player; manwhore ways; the reputation that does no good, pretty much sums up the very lickable and down right class of human he is. Hannah; the good girl crashing on the handsome football; ain’t got not time for Garrett; she can smell his reputation a mile away, however when Garrett needs help in a class that’s not his forte; Hannah the glowing student is his get-out-jail free to a pass. Unfortunately as good heroes of the heart with a bad boy reputation go, the shut down is fast than a fly zip being unzipped. It’s burns. It’s burns Garrett that Hannah is immune to the charm of his wits and Hannah’s not falling for any scheme that would have her reconsidering to help Garrett.
After trying and trying evasively to wear Hannah to the perm of his stellar persuasion for class help; Garrett learns that Hannah needs social status. If she want’s the guy she thinks she craves; appeal to their heart is not going to work, a buzzing connection of status with the IT hockey plater will. An offer is place, but as the bounds of the offer of buzz reck fly around campus it’s a buzz of the chemistry between Garrett & Hannah that had me reading is hot sweats of love! The relationship development was spot on, to why I love to read NA college romances; it’s the underdogs; the riekling feelings underneath the complex me to have never stop for a second whilst reading The Deal.
The binding of hearts was spectacular as bonding and the nature of hanging out riffle the temperature rising the heat of chemistry. The book bids the heart of emotion; the beads the laughter, the emotion and the love into a stunning novel that I loved. It’s one of those books that if you love NA college romances it’s for you, don’t even have to read the Synopsis it’s a go to. The sexy heart of the story had me fully intertwined within the story, and the emotions and heart pivot and stammer the beating heart at a million miles an hour. I loved it; truly and it was breathtakingly written with heart and Elle Kennedy is my hero, for this novel!
