Malcolm Wallace lived for the adrenaline rush. If he wasn’t living life on the edge, he wasn’t living. He had no time for relationships, let alone love.
When one event changes Malcolm’s entire future, he must turn to the one person who makes him doubt his entire philosophy on life.
Paislie Pruitt.
She’s beautiful.
She’s strong.
She’s the one rush Malcolm never saw coming.

The slow burn of a love has never been as perfect as when I picked up Adrenaline by Kelly Elliott. Heartfelt, romantic, tender and emotional Malcolm and Paislie’s story was a raw and beautiful story to fall head over heals for. There story held so much emotion as the ultimate-playboy Malcom meets fiercely-independent Paislie. Their love captivated as the slow burn of chemistry ignited sensually and as always Kelly Elliott knows how to capture pure chemistry and romance at it’s rawest and most honest.
Adrenaline is the second book in the Speed Series by Kelly Elliott and it follows Paislie; an orphanage-raised woman who has spiritual beliefs and a lack of trust for men unless its for a hookup, until she meets Malcolm that is. Malcolm Wallace is a NASCAR driver who played the coin of evil in Ignite as Emmit Lewis’s nemesis however now turned good friend. The field is wide open for Malcolm to now take centre stage as the adrenaline rush of racing lives in his veins. Fate collides when Paislie bumps into Malcolm and an instant attraction is felt, leaving the field open to unknown feelings and possibilities dangerous to both of their hearts.
I absolutely loved the slow-burn of a romance developed in Adrenaline as the story captivated and left me all teary-eyed at points. The characters were brilliantly written to be real and show the rawest of pain and the beauty of love at it’s purist. Paislie and Malcolm’s connection can be felt so vividly whilst reading the impact of racing and the journey these two take was stunningly written to leave me breathless and in awe of the love created.
Adrenaline is everything you want in a slow-burning yet sexy and emotional romance. It’s a love story that unravels at it’s own pace when the heart wants. It’s romantic, sensual and perfect in every sense of romance. This is undoubtedly one of Kelly’s books I will be rereading and wanting to experience timelessly as the characters were beautifully written and hold so raw and beautiful chemistry in my heart. This book is told in dual POV and I absolutely loved getting an insight to Malcolm’s mind set as perception from the first book was vast to what I experienced in Adrenaline. Adrenaline was the perfect blend of sensual love, emotion and pure raw heart that combined to be one of my favourite books to date from Kelly. I also loved the minor characters of Father Tim and Sister Elizabeth, fingers crossed an unconventional love story may be in the works. Another perfect and stunningly beautiful novel from Kelly Elliott, I highly recommend reading!
