{Review}

Forbidden love stories always tempt me to read and 99% of the time I try to steer clear but when it comes to Kendall Ryan’s stylistic scripture of romance I can’t say no, no matter what the subject I don’t even have to read the blurb to want to read because I know I’m in for a treat page after page and this book DOESN’T DISAPPOINT!

Sinfully Mine is the second standalone book in the Lessons with the Dom series and intertwines Reece; the best friend of Cameron from the first book The Gentleman Mentor and Cameron’s sister Macey as she arrives back in town full of years past with lust and looking to explore and have some fun. As you can imagine just the connection to romance could lead to some serious punch ons between the two best friends but when you throw in the BDSM aspect of Reece being the owner of Crave; the hottest BDSM club around  the forbidden lure of limitless passion and a magnetic pull brings a whole new dynamic to the floor.

Reece and Macey’s chemistry was dynamite from the very minute I started reading and I truly couldn’t put it down even messaging a friend saying I was going to have to pass on plans because Sinfully Mine was consuming me to the point I nearly forgot about the plans all together. As the story develops the balance of a connecting lust and need from the past and the present craving for more and to experience a  lesson from a Dom delivers a captivating and passionate sizzle of romance.

I absolutely loved Macey and Reece for their personal characteristics of sassiness, loyalty, passion and heart as they blend perfectly to create a story that allures you and relates to the best and worst parts of life and the decisions that come with falling for someone no matter the consequences as you follow your heart.

Sinfully Mine was a perfect blend of the components of love and relatable relationships even with the BDSM world surrounding the underlying theme of the novel as Macey and Reece are human and their ability to relate to every day emotions and issues conveys more than the lifestyle but the heart of the novel which was beautifully scripted to present love. The novel isn’t without it’s drama but the stem of heart holds through thick and thin and Macey and Reece’s story brought so much beauty to read and was definitely a one-sitting kind of read.

I absolutely loved Macey and Reece’s story and I can’t wait for Hale and Brielle’s story coming soon as yet again Kendall Ryan stole the show with a sexy, vibrant and passionate novel that is a must read full of everything you could want in a forbidden romance that is panty-wetting and swoon worthy.

“What do you think you’re doing?” I find her in my closet, down on her knees and rummaging through a black duffel bag that just happens to hold all my sex toys. Apparently she did see this when she cleaned up.

“Ah, here we go.” Her fingers close around a generously sized flesh-colored vibrating dildo. “You won’t do the job? Well, I have a feeling this baby will.” She waves it in the air like she’s found the damn golden ticket. Then she rises to her feet and smiles sweetly at me.

For the love of God, this woman does not fight fair. She never has. “Where do you think you’re going with that?”

“Probably my bed, then the shower.” A line creases her forehead. “Do you have spare batteries for this thing? It might be a long night.”

“No way. Not happening. Give me the toy, Macey.” I reach out a hand, my voice as stern as the set of my jaw, my fingers barely avoiding crushing the crystal tumbler in my other hand.

A slow smile uncurls on her mouth. “Why, Reece Jackson, are you jealous?” She eyes the toy in her hand and then lets her gaze slip seductively down to the crotch of my pants.

If she really thinks that toy’s size has me feeling insecure, she’s insane. Certifiably. “You really don’t remember, do you?” Now I’m the one smiling. She’ll be in for a pleasant surprise later.

“I remember everything. I remember how you always made me keep my underwear on, and that I never actually saw you”—her gaze flicks downward—”down there. I only felt you with my hand, and since I had nothing to base it on, I assumed all guys were like that.”

“Well, in that case, you’ll be sorely disappointed with this toy.” I snatch the dildo from her hand and toss it back in the open bag.

“What do you think you’re doing?” she asks, planting a hand on her hip. “You left me hanging at the restaurant.”

“And you will stay like that until I say so.”
