It’s time for an unboxing/review of the Romance Reveal Book Box subscription service.

The Romance Reveal Book Box is a monthly book box subscription service that is delivered straight to your door once a month. The box contains TWO signed paperbacks, bookish swag and a non-book related gift and I couldn’t be more excited to share what’s inside the one I receive. (Note: I had an unboxing video but I decided against uploading as it wasn’t the best footage). I’m going to break it down into a few different categories and hopefully my review will give you an idea if it’s for you.

WHAT YOU GET:

TWO SIGNED Paperbacks: In my box I received All That Jazz by Natasha Boyd which I haven’t actually read yet although have heard plenty of buzz about and Slow & Steady by Kendall Ryan who I absolutely adore and the book I absolutely loved and can’t believe I can add it to my collection! These two paperbacks for me where a perfect combination because I haven’t read any of Natasha Boyd’s work so it opened me up to a new author to me and also because I had read and loved Slow & Steady by Kendall Ryan I absolutely loved receiving a signed paperback to put on my bookshelf.

SWAG: I don’t know about you but I love collecting swag, my house is literally full of different forms of swag; from coffee mugs to magnets to bookmarks and everything in-between. In my box I received a pin from Natasha Boyd’s All That Jazz, a Certified Book Addict wristband, two Rentless Romance lolly treats, three bookmarks from Kendall Ryan,Lori Otto & a Romance Reveal Book Box and two postcards one that was signed by Beth Ehemann and one that was an info postcard.

NON Bookish Gift: In each box there is one non-book related item and in mine it was a natural soy candle from Candle Crest called Egyptian Amber and although I haven’t burnt it yet the smell on first sniff is amazing, and I can’t wait to smell it once I light the candle.

COST:

The cost of a box is $24.95USD + Shipping/Handling or alternatively ONE signed book is $12.95USD + Shipping/Handling. This to me sounds amazing as it equals roughly $10USD per a signed book + the added swag & non-bookish gift. I’m going to break it down a little more for international customers because if your like me who lives in Australia there is nothing worse that shipping fees and exchange rates.

The cost of the box is $24.95USD + shipping/handling is $21.95USD = $46.90USD = $63AUD (roughly with exchange rate)

Just to play devils advocate on the opposed side; getting two signed books from authors in rough terms as I have paid this for one signed book from the states before it is usually $15USD per a book & $20USD shipping= $35USD = $47AUD for ONE book (exchange fluctuates), so roughly $100AUD for two books from different authors.

OVERALL:

I think this is one of the best subscription services for value for money especially if you are international in Australia like me. I absolutely loved every single product I received and if my video camera would have worked properly you would have seen that in my unboxing, but I promise next time you will. The magnificent subscription box service is run by Abby an avid reader/ romance book blogger and Brandon a successful entrepreneur and it definitely is overall a great subscription service whether you are located stateside or internationally. I love that it’s a total surprise if you let it be what you will receive so basically steer clear of tags, instagram and all sorts of notifications if you want to be surprised like I was. I would definitely highly recommend the Romance Reveal Book Box subscription and I can’t wait to receive another box.
