Destry ignites passion, smoking hot cowboys and just such an amazing narrative. This was the first book I have ever read by Lola and by god was it a capital A M A Z I N G. Destry and Amelia have such amazing names first of all, and very unique. I loved the narrative, it was passionate, it was heartfelt and it just made me get all giddy. I live semi-country and I wish there were guys like Destry around me. Destry and Amelia off the bat have such amazing chemistry and it is a credit to Lola with the characters she has created. They are passionate, heartfelt and just swoon worthy. The brothers. Oh the brothers. I believe this is a series, so we will see more and I’ll admit the more the merrier.
Destry and Amelia both struggle with real problems of trust, loyalty, family obligations and just letting some in. Destry is filled with so much romance and heart. I definitely recommend it if it you want someone to swoon over and make you feel bubbly happy feelings. For the first book I have read from Lola, I am kicking myself that I didn’t pick up a paperback copy at #IADU because it is just awesome. I rated it a 5- Lit Love because it drew passion, heart and romance with a kicking swoon worthy cowboy.
